I’ve set myself a goal. But I’m not telling you what it is.

Wow! Third blog post in three days. That might give you a clue about what I’m aiming at – but I’m saying no more. Not after I watched this TED video from Derek Sivers:

It seems that – contrary to what hokey motivational psychologists have been preaching for years –  telling people your goals means there’s less chance of you reaching them. All because you get a little bit of the buzz of success simply by telling people the awesome thing you plan to do and then they respond by telling you that it’s awesome.

So, for once, I’m keeping schtum. And maybe, just maybe, I’ll succeed.

I did say maybe, didn’t I.
