Facebook for total dumbasses

January 18, 2008

Facebook Magazine

Iain told me about this magazine the other day. Then I discovered an image of it on the great RubbishCorp blog. I just can’t believe that anyone would actually need this publication. How stupid are people, really? It reminds me of that late 90s attitude to the internet where bosses would ask their secretaries to print out a website for them. Duh!

If you see anyone buying this magazine, feel free to ridicule them in the same way that Victorian England used to go to the asylums to laugh at the mentally ill.

And for a dose of Facebook scaremongering and conspiracy theorising, have a read of the Guardian article that’s been discussed everywhere else in Blog-shire recently.

What the t’interwebs used to be like

January 18, 2008

I’m not a fan of 24. In fact, I’ve never watched a single episode. However, this College Humor parody of what the series would be like if they were using dialup and AOL 3.0 is wonderful. It brings back a lot of early web memories.
